Do I have to show my vaccine passport to enter the library?
No, vaccine passports are not required to access library services. Please access the library via the south-facing entrance.
Do I have to wear a mask when visiting the library?
No, as of March 11, 2022 masks are no longer mandatory in the library, however, we recommend wearing a mask while visiting the library.
Computer and workstation appointments
We are providing access to our computers and WiFi-enabled workspaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
When can I return my library items?
Our dropbox is open for returns every day. The library drop box is located on the Cottonwood Street entrance, head up the stairs and it is tucked away in the corner of the building.
Can I borrow a book from another library?
Yes! We can borrow items from other BC libraries. Please note that we can not borrow new items (items newer than 12 months) or items that we already own. If there is an item that you think the library should purchase please fill out our purchase suggestion form.
Is the library still hosting programs and events?
Yes! The library is hosting both in-person and virtual events. For the most up-to-date information on our events please follow us on Facebook or visit our Events Calendar.
Can I get some documents printed?
Yes! You can print from a library computer, or from home via our mobile printing service.
How it works:
To print documents from home or your device, please email the file you would like printed as an attachment to the email addresses listed below.
Staff are unable to view any comments or text included in the email. If you need multiple copies of your prints please let us know the number of copies you require when you call to arrange the collection of your printing.
- File types you can print include: MS Word (doc/ docx), Excel (xls/xlsx), PowerPoint (ppt/pptx), pdf, jpg, html, txt, png, bmp, email, and website files.
- To print websites, use the URL in the body of the email with no attachment.
- When printing images (jpg, bmp, png), please put only the desired dimensions in the subject line. Any additional text may cause an error. Images can be printed in the following sizes: 2×3, 3×5, 4×6, 5×7, or 8×10.
Pick up your printing:
- Print jobs are held for 3 hours. Once you have emailed your prints, please contact the library by phone (604-894-6916) to arrange the collection and payment of your printing.
- Print jobs can be picked up Monday – Friday from 10 am until 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am until 4 pm.

B&W: 25c per page/side
Color: 75c per page/side
Payment: We currently accept the correct change or card payments (credit and debit) over $1.00
Can I sign up for a library card online?
Yes! If you are a Pemberton or Area C resident you can become a library cardholder by registering through our online form. Each person can register for one active library card.
Visit the library Monday through Friday between 10 am and 6 pm or Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm to pick up your library card.

I can’t find my library card, can I get a new one?
If you can’t find your library card please visit us or contact us by phone: 604-894-6916 or email: library@pemberton.bclibrary.ca and we can retrieve your library card number for you.
How to place holds on items for pick up at the Library!
Did you know? You can place holds on items you would like to read or watch from the comfort of your own home and pick them up from the library.
Library materials are available to pick up: Monday – Friday 10 am – 6 pm and Saturdays, 10 am – 4 pm
How it works:
Go to our catalogue https://pemberton.bibliocommons.com/ and search for any items you want to borrow. Place a hold on each item you want to borrow.
OR
Send us an email to library@pemberton.bclibrary.ca with your selection/interests and we will do our best to find something to meet your needs.
You will receive an email notification or phone call when your items are ready to collect from the Library.
If you have trouble accessing your online account, please let us know! The login information is your library card number and the PIN will be the last 4 digits of your phone number.
