A representative from Work BC Employment Services Centre will be at the Pemberton & District Public Library on Thursday afternoons between 1 pm – 4:30 pm. Drop-ins welcome. No appointment necessary, please bring a copy of your current resume with you. 

Some of the services provided include:

  • Personal employment planning
  • Workshops and training
  • and other specialized services

Whistler Pemberton Newcomer Services Drop In 

Do you have questions about EI, BC Hydro, MSP, immigration, visas, or any other questions about living in Canada or you would like to connect with other newcomers?

The Whistler Pemberton newcomer services’ Settlement Worker will be at the Pemberton Library on the second and fourth Thursday of every month from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

This is a free, friendly, and professional service funded by the government of Canada and the Province of BC. Settlement services are available FREE to all immigrants and newcomers to Canada.

You can drop by to speak with the Settlement Worker, no appointment needed. If you aren’t available during these drop-in times or if you have any questions about this service, contact wpnewcomers@capilanou.ca for details.
