Candle-dipping is a craft that creates candles by dipping a wick into melted wax to build up layers. In Switzerland, as in many other parts of Europe, candle dipping is a popular and nostalgic holiday activity, particularly in the rural and alpine regions. This craft is often a family or community activity that brings people together during the festive season. About our Cultural Ambassador: Romy Schranz, a local Pemberton farmer originally from Switzerland, will lead this community workshop for the third consecutive year, sharing her love for this wonderful holiday craft.
